Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Hong Kong Link Road – Section between HKSAR Boundary and Scenic Hill

In order to connect the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the SAR traffic system, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) plans a series of strategic transport ancillary works. 12 km long Hong Kong Link Road (HKLR) as one of proposed plan is for connecting the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Hong Kong port.

HKLR the bridge will be completed together with the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and other ancillary works within Hong Kong. Joint-venture of BaoJia – China Harbour – VSL undertake part of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Hong Kong Link Road Project, starting from HKSAR boundary to Scenic Hill. The works include:

  • Construction of 9.4 km long dual three-lane elevated viaduct;
  • Reset the existing weather station, renovation of existing wind measurement stations, installation of anemograph along HKLR elevated viaduct and airport island;
  • As well as associated ancillary works including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical, geotechnical, surveying, environmental protection, slope, landscaping and drainage works, setting firefighting facilities, as well as the installation of traffic monitoring systems.
