Recently, the sixth division of East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) has presented good news in bridge construction, tunnel construction, T-beam erection one after another, making a good start for the construction task in 2023, and starting the labor competition themed on “build high-quality projects, ensure safety, and set off a new upsurge of civil construction”.

At the beginning of the New Year, the sixth division of the East Coast Rail Link Project in Malaysia has good news! Under the guidance and support of the General Manager Department of the East Coast Rail Link Project and relevant departments of CHEC headquarters, and with the joint efforts of all the construction personnel of the sixth division, the actual output value of the sixth division (Section B) in the fourth quarter (Q4) was 11.37%, 109.08% of the planned quarterly output value (10.42%).

The “Yunding No. 1” TBM Launching Ceremony was held at the entrance of the Yunding Tunnel of CCCC Malaysia East Coast Rail Link Project on April 1. Kong Qi - Vice President of CHEC and General Manager of the Project Department, Liu Jianming - Vice President of CHEC and Deputy General Manager of the Project Department, and Deng Bo - Deputy General Manager and chief engineer of the Project Department attended the launching ceremony and cut the ribbon for TBM.

The document handover ceremony for Section C (Northern Alignment) of the Malaysia East Coast Rail Link constructed by CHEC was held in Kuala Lumpur on December 2. Amirudin - Minister of Selangor State in Malaysia and Wee Ka Siong - Malaysia’s Transport Minister attended the ceremony and delivered speeches.

During a two day tour, Ismail Bakar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Malaysia Rail Link Co., Ltd., inspected the Malaysia East Coast Rail Line constructed by CCCC on July 10 and July 11. He was accompanied by Siti Zainab, Isham Ishak, Ahmad Suhaimi, Salimi and Sri Fauzi, who are all members of the Board of Directors of Malaysia Rail Link Co., Ltd.
