His Excellency Bai Tian – the Chinese ambassador, extraordinary and plenipotentiary to Malaysia, and Bai Yinzhan – Vice President of CHEC and Vice General Manager of CCCC East Coast Rail Line Project attended the donation ceremony.

At the ceremony, his Excellency Bai Tian spoke commended the CCCC East Coast Rail Line Project for its prompt response and assistance following the COVID-19 outbreak. He pointed out that all walks of life in China were very much concerned about the epidemic in Malaysia and were actively assisting Malaysia. As long as China and Malaysia remain united and cope scientifically, the epidemic is certain to be overcome. Witnessed by his Excellency Bai Tian, Chen Chaoming – Secretary General of the Ministry of Health of Malaysia, received the donations on behalf of the Ministry of Health of Malaysia.

Since early February, the second wave of COVID-19 outbreak in Malaysia has become increasingly severe, and the epidemic prevention supplies are unusually low. The CCCC East Coast Rail Line Project attaches great importance to these developments. Adhering to the concept of creating value, returning to society, it has actively taken actions and shouldered responsibilities. While protecting the enterprises from the epidemic, it also gathered enough epidemic prevention supplies which are in short in the local society and donated them on its own initiative, to contribute to the epidemic prevention and control operations in Malaysia, and collaborate with Malaysia in overcoming the ordeal.

Meanwhile, the CCCC East Coast Rail Line Project pays close attention to the development of the epidemic, makes every effort to coordinate all resources, and actively arranges the connection with medical supplies manufacturers and logistics channels. It will keep providing donations within its capacity, and collaborate with the Malaysian people to fight the epidemic.

“Let’s climb the mountain and cross the ditch together”. This donation fully reflects the profound friendship between China and Malaysia, and it is a concrete practice of CHEC’s core value – “Realizing the responsibilities, returning to the society with a high quality and establishing win-win cooperation” and showing gratitude and returning to the local society. Besides, it displays the love and responsibilities of all members of the CCCC East Coast Rail Line Project. We believe that as long as we remain united and support each other, we will surely emerge victorious in Malaysia’s epidemic prevention and control work.
