During a two day tour, Ismail Bakar, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Malaysia Rail Link Co., Ltd., inspected the Malaysia East Coast Rail Line constructed by CCCC on July 10 and July 11. He was accompanied by Siti Zainab, Isham Ishak, Ahmad Suhaimi, Salimi and Sri Fauzi, who are all members of the Board of Directors of Malaysia Rail Link Co., Ltd.. Moreover, CEO Darwis and Project Director Yew Yow Boo as well as other related personnel were present at the inspection.
On the morning of July 10, the delegation led by Ismail Bakar first visited the main camp and training center at the front line of the project, and witnessed the VR multimedia video training kit, the layout of training facilities and the tunnel simulator. The facilities of the VR experience pavilion of the Malaysia East Coast Rail Line Project left a big impression on Ismail Bakar and he recognized the front-line safety training work of the project.
The next morning (July 11th), the delegation visited the construction site of Kuantan Tunnel exit. In agreement with the requirements for entering the tunnel hole, they participated in the safety training, gained an in-depth knowledge of the basic situation, the layout of construction segments, and the current construction progress of the project. In addition, the delegation inspected the construction inside the tunnel and inquired about the main and difficult construction points, construction technologies, disposition of mechanical equipment inside the tunnel, et cetera. Besides, they discussed with the project leader about related work and showed their appreciation for the overall construction and progress of the project. Ismail Bakar hoped that the management teams of China and Malaysia would actively cooperate with each other to build an outstanding Malaysia East Coast Rail Line Project and promote the economic and social development of Malaysia.
Through this inspection, Malaysia Rail Link Co., Ltd. recognized the abilities of CCCC, gained insightful knowledge on the Malaysia East Coast Rail Line Project, strengthened the friendship between the management teams of China and Malaysia, nurtured the relationship between both parties, and laid a solid foundation for the smooth progress of the project.
