The Long Track Direct Laying Test Section of the ECRL Project Successfully Started

Recently, the construction of the 500-meterm long track direct laying test section of CCPG500A rail track laying unit was has successfully started for the CCCC China-Mad-East RailwayECRL project. Liu Jianming, – Deputy Vice President of general manager of China Port CHEC and Deputy General Manager of ECRL Maodong Railway Project, announced the launch of the trial shop laying, and the leading teams of the project General manager’s Engineering Management Department, QAQC Department, the Second Site Office and the leadership of ten branchesthe Tenth Branch of the General Manager Department participated in the activity event.

At the end of October, the track-laying unit components were successively entered. In order to gain more time for the subsequent commissioning of the track laying machines and familiarization of the work of the teams getting familiar with the operation, the Tenth Branchtenth division of the project organized a capable team to work in two shifts with the technicians of the manufacturer to jointly implement the unit assembly and no-load commissioning. In the face of challenges such as continuous high temperature and thunderstorms weather, they completed the installation and commissioning  of the long rail track straight direct laying units and single-machine commissioning were completed in less than half a month, ensuring that the trial laying of the test section of the test lay was carried out in advance.

The successful start of the testtrial laying will lay the foundation for the integrated commissioning of the track laying units and the skilled operation of the operators, and prepare for the upcoming launch ceremony of the track engineering in December. In the next step, the Ma East RailwayECRL project will continue to “sharpen the gun, repair the shoes, nail the horseshoe”make further preparations , and to fully support the major transformation of the project from offline civil construction to the online system.
