At the beginning of the New Year, the sixth division of the East Coast Rail Link Project in Malaysia has good news! Under the guidance and support of the General Manager Department of the East Coast Rail Link Project and relevant departments of CHEC headquarters, and with the joint efforts of all the construction personnel of the sixth division, the actual output value of the sixth division (Section B) in the fourth quarter (Q4) was 11.37%, 109.08% of the planned quarterly output value (10.42%). In 2022, the actual cumulative output value was 32.95%, 102.96% of the planned annual output value (32.00%). Both its annual and cumulative output value and completion rate ranked first in the whole line of East Coast Rail Link Project, and the output value completion rate and comprehensive evaluation in the fourth quarter ranked first in the whole line, laying the foundation for a good start in 2023 with the above excellent results.

In 2022, adhering to the principle of “strengthening project management platform and realizing value creation”, the sixth division deeply promoted the establishment of “three benchmarks”, and struggled to complete the labor competition of “Strengthening management, safeguarding safety, achieving production and guaranteeing progress” carried out by the General Manager Department of the East Coast Rail Link Project. It has successfully completed 11 tunnels and created multiple firsts, such as erection of the first ROB road bridge, closure of the first continuous beam, production of the first prefabricated beam , erection of the first T-beam, opening of the first ROB road bridge and so on.

In the new year, the sixth division will stay true the original intention, keep in mind the mission, actively empower the construction, dare to show the sword, and do its best to build “outstanding brand” and create “excellent products” for the “Belt and Road” Initiative, implement CHEC’s management ideas for the sixth division of East Coast Rail Link Project with high quality and contribute to building a “three-type” first-class enterprise.
