Recently, in order to have an in-depth knowledge of the track-laying base and on-the-spot construction of the ECRL, 11 media, including China Global Television Network (CGTN), Bernama, and Sin Chew Daily, together visited the ECRL Project Management Section 10 for research and interview.
The media group first listened to the person in charge of the Management Section 10 at the traffic control center (CROCC) about the track-laying construction arrangement, the layout of the functional areas at the track-laying base, the working mechanism of the long-track laying machine, etc., watched an animation of the track-laying process and a video of the on–the-spot track laying, and went to the sleeper factory and the track welding factory to investigate the sleeper production and long-track welding, and took a test ride of the diesel locomotive at the base. Besides, the media group also visited the staff dormitory, restaurant and staff home activity center at the main camp, and recorded a micro-video of New Year greetings.
Since December 11, 2023 when the State Head of Malaysia, his wife and the main leaders of CCCG jointly witnessed the first track-laying construction of the CCCC ECRL Project, the track-laying team of the Management Section 10, adhering to the principle of safety first and smooth progress, has completed the link of tracks between three stations along the main line 20 days ahead of schedule, which has received great attention from the local community and media, and effectively enhanced the corporate awareness and brand image.
In the next step, the Project Department will continue to go all out to promote the construction of the project with high quality and high standards, and make greater contributions to building the ECRL project into a model of China-Malaysia “Belt and Road” cooperation.
