On July 20, the 108m continuous beam bridge of CCCC ECRL Super-large Bridge across Terengganu River was successfully closed, marking the “tough work” affecting the second beam line of the project’s Division 3 was finally completed on time.

The 108m continuous beam bridge of Super-large Bridge across Terengganu River has a total length of about 237m and a deck width of 12m, with 59 segments. The beam body is of single-box single-cell straight-web box section, which is a three-dimensional prestressed system. The main beam is prestressed longitudinally, transversally and vertically. Steel strand is adopted for longitudinal and transverse prestress, while finished deformed bar is adopted for vertical prestress. The prestressed pipe is made of metal bellows and sheet iron casing with the vacuum-assisted grouting technology. During the construction, the construction team of Division 3 of the project actively overcame multiple tests such as rainy season, high temperature, tight schedule and complex construction conditions, strictly implemented the management requirements, and jointly carried out special technical and safety training and disclosure for many times. Besides, it actively coordinated various forces to improve the construction technology, strictly implemented the operating system, increased on-site organization and coordination, and strengthened the monitoring of the construction process, ensuring the construction safety and engineering quality.

In the following, ECRL project will continue to carry forward the spirit of struggle and dedication of ECRL people, overcome various challenges in production and operation with the courage to struggle, realize value creation in overseas practices with the attitude of dedication, strive to build high-quality projects, and do a good job in the construction of CCCC brand.
