On September 5, the first offshore 150-ton prefabricated cap skirt plate of the 275kV sea-crossing transmission line project in Penang, Malaysia, was successfully completed, marking the official start of the construction of the above-water structure of the project.

In order to solve the problems such as many temporary measures and long time spent in the original design of the offshore high pile cap, the general manager department of the project analyzed and studied its structure in combination with the actual conditions of the project site, fully integrated the ideas of “casting in situ” and “raising the floor elevation”, and guided the optimization of the subsequent design scheme and construction scheme. Finally, under the requirements of meeting the design and related specifications, the design drawings and related construction schemes were successfully approved by the owner, which improved the construction efficiency and ensured the construction quality.

In the next step, the General Manager Department of the project will continue to practice the spirit of “being leading in science and technology, first-class in management”, overcome difficulties, do a good job in fine, standardized and standardized construction, and make every effort to ensure the smooth completion of the project.
