The Construction of Pile-supported Embankment Work of Sarawak No.2 Trunk Road Section B1 Project in Malaysia Starts Ahead of Schedule

On September 14, the square pile driving started at the pile-supported embankment on Side A of Sungai Parit Abutment for Sarawak No. 2 Trunk Road Section B1 project in Malaysia, 35 days ahead of the schedule.

The pile-supported embankment work is 375m long in total, with a total of 7,650 square piles, which are 167,000m long in total. Faced with the adverse factors such as short supply of square piles in Sarawak, weak geological conditions of the construction platform and frequent rainfall on the site, the Project Department organized a youth commando team, gave full play to their subjective initiative and sense of ownership, planned in advance and coordinated with multiple sides to ensure the the pile-supported embankment work starts ahead of schedule, which lays a good foundation for the construction of the subsequent bridge work.

In the next step, the Project Department will continue to give full play to the spirit of the project team and the young commandos who can bear great hardships, fight, and make great contributions, so as to promote the production and operation of the project and strive for the high-quality performance of the project and the expansion of the market on the site.
