The first steel tower installed measures 7m long and weighs 15.4 tons. That day, in spite of the strong wind and rough sea at the site, the project team worked together, cooperated efficiently, fully considered the weather and tides, and strictly controlled the hoisting of lifting equipment. With rich construction experience, it took 4 hours to complete the precise docking of more than 100 cap reinforcing steel bars, successfully completing the installation of the first steel tower, which accumulated valuable experience for the installation of the subsequent steel towers.

The Sea-crossing Transmission Line Project in Penang, Malaysia is the first large-scale sea-crossing transmission line project in Malaysia with a height of more than 100m among all offshore power towers. After its completion, the project will become another landmark landscape building in Penang, whose transmission performance is much better than that of local submarine cables and under-bridge cables used in the past, so it will greatly enhance the power supply guarantee capacity of Penang Island.
