On July 20, the 108m continuous beam bridge of CCCC ECRL Super-large Bridge across Terengganu River was successfully closed, marking the "tough work" affecting the second beam line of the project's Division 3 was finally completed on time.

On September 14, the square pile driving started at the pile-supported embankment on Side A of Sungai Parit Abutment for Sarawak No. 2 Trunk Road Section B1 project in Malaysia, 35 days ahead of the schedule.

On March 12, the ECRL Sixth Division in Malaysia announced another piece of good news. Both Teras Tunnel (15# Tunnel) and the Telut Tunnel No. 2 (20# Tunnel) were successfully completed on the same day, which are also the 14th and 15th tunnels among the 18 tunnels that have been completed by the Sixth Division.

A few days ago, the foundation bed for the first batch of bearing platforms of Kota Bharu Elevated Station Building were completed, marking the on-site housing construction of ECRL Project officially started.

Recently, the prestressed concrete continuous girder of Bridge 4# of the Fourth Division of the East Coast Rail Link Project (ECRL) was successfully closed, marking the completion and closure of the first 108m-long continuous girder on the whole line of ECRL.

Recently, as the main engine of the track-laying machine was smoothly lifted back to the track at the special level crossing for the large-scale hoisting at the track-laying base from the axial low flatbed trailer, the CCCC ECRL project has successfully made the first turn-around of the track-laying unit. As a key step of connecting the first and second paving sections of the main line, the smooth turn of the track-laying unit indicates that the project is ready for the start of the long-track laying in the second paving section in advance.

Recently, the celebration for the achievement of 1,500,000 man-hours without LTI of Sarawak No.2 Trunk Road Section B1 Project in Malaysia was held in Sri Aman. Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas - Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Infrastructure and Port Development of Sarawak, and Richard – Director General of Sarawak Public Works Department (JKR Sarawak) attended the celebration and gave speeches. Local councillors, heads of various divisions of Sarawak Public Works Department, head of Sri Aman Branch head and project leader of JV Company were also present at the celebration.

Recently, with the completion of the last cubic meter of concrete pouringpoured, the last 108m-long  meters continuous beam of the Pahang River Bridge was successfully combined in of the China-Malaysia East Railway CCCC ECRL project was successfully closed.

On April 7, the “Invest in China Year” (Embracing ASEAN) and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Establishment of Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park under Malaysia-China “Two Countries Twin Parks”, Framework and the groundbreaking ceremony of the Malaysia-China Kuantan International Logistics Park project were held in Kuantan, capital of Pahang, Malaysia. Liu Ning - Secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Loke Siew Fook - Minister of Transport of Malaysia, Liew Chin Tong - Vice Minister of Trade and Industry of Malaysia, Wan Rosdy - Minister of State Affairs of Pahang, his Excellency Ouyang Yujing - the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Chen Chunjiang - Assistant Minister of Commerce of China, Datuk Nizah - Executive Councillor of Pahang, Malaysia, Wang Haihuai - President of CCCG and Chen Zhong – Vice President of CCCG, and Baiyin Zhan - President of CHEC attended these activities.
